First, I tried to get a feel for how these teams have been doing lately. I looked at their recent games, you know, wins, losses, that sort of stuff. Scrolled through a ton of articles, game recaps, and even some fan forums. It's wild how much info is out there! It took me several hours to find out the historical statistics of the two teams.
Then, I started to comparerae the teams' strengths and d weaksessenesses. Like, NC State's offense has been pretty solid, but their defense? Not so much. Pitt, on the other hand, seems to have a tougher defense, but their offense is kinda shaky. I made a whole list of these pros and cons, trying to figure out which team had the edge. I wrote them on my white board and tried to compare them.

Next, I tried to find out if any key players were injured or if there was any other drama that could affect the game. That was a whole other rabbit hole! But I made it a goal and started to search them in forums. Found out a couple of players were out, and one coach had some kind of scandal going on. Crazy, right? After about an hour of searching, I wrote down the list of player injuries.
My Prediction
After all that, I started to form a prediction. It wasn't easy, and I changed my mind like five times. But in the end, I decided to go with NC State. I just have a feeling their offense will be too much for Pitt to handle, even with their strong defense. I circled it on my white board and mark it with a big exclamation mark!
Of course, I could be totally wrong. That's the fun of sports, right? You never really know what's gonna happen. But I documented my whole process, all the stats I looked at, the comparisons I made, and my final prediction. I even jotted down some notes for a possible follow-up post-game analysis. We will see.
