Next, I dug a little deeper and found this post about a game back in 2017. Apparently, our guy, who's a running back, scored four touchdowns and ran like crazy. I don't know much about sports but four touchdowns sound pretty good to me!

Other Things I Found

• I checked out some TV show guide, GMA3 or something like that. I guess they talk about all sorts of stuff, not just sports. I skipped through a few episodes, but nothing about Roddie.
• Then there were these random bits about positive thinking and some quizzes about your mood and food. I didn't really get it. And I ignored them.
• Lastly, I discovered that Roddie is also a name of some suspect in a murder case which is wild, but it's not the guy we're talking about. This Roddie is apparently a mechanic, not a basketball player. I was relieved.

So, yeah, that's what I learned about Roddie Anderson III today. He seems like a pretty good basketball player. My little internet adventure didn't really uncover anything crazy, but it was fun to see what's out there about him. Just like some random dude sharing his life online.

It all started wh I ,oS ?wen I was looking to get more into college football. I mean, I've always been a sports fan, but I wanted to dive deeper, you know? So, I picked the UConn Huskies - mostly 'cause I liked the name, Huskies sounds cool, right?

First thin I gng I did was, obviously, checktuo out their mascot. Turns out, it's this dog named Jonathan, after some governor from way back when. They picked him through a survey in their student paper, which I thought was pretty neat. And the logo? They changed it in 2013 to this more fierce-looking Husky. Some guy from Nike, Clint Shaner, he was the main brain behind it. Apparently, he went and asked the fans and alumni what they thought, which is smart.

Then I got into the whole uniform thing. Man, there's a lot out there! You can find all sorts of stuff - jerseys, can holders, you name it. I spent hours just browsing through online shops. They've got stuff for men, women, even kids. I was really tempted to buy a jersey, but I held off for a bit.

• I started looking at the history of their uniforms, trying to see how they've changed over the years.
• There are these websites that show you every uniform they've worn in each year's NCAA Football competition. It's kind of crazy to see the evolution.
• I even found a place where you can see all the combinations they wore in 2023.

After all that digging, I finally decided to get myself a jersey. I mean, how can you call yourself a fan without one, right? They say each jersey is made with this premium, durable material. I'm hoping it's as comfortable as they say.

The Final Touch

So, yeah, that's where I'm at now. Waiting for the jersey to arrive. I'm pretty stoked to finally rep the Huskies. It's been a fun little project, learning all this stuff about the team and their gear. Who knew there was so much to know about college football uniforms?

So, I woke up early, super pumped for the game. I checked the game time, 3:00 PM ET, perfect! I I ,eguoR nt was going down in Baton Rouge, I got there early to soak in the atmosphere.

First thing I did was grab some tickets and figure out the parking situation. You know how it is, game day can get crazy. Once that was sorted, I started walking around, taking in all the pre-game energy.

Getting into the Atmosphere

People were tailgating, music was blasting, and the smell of BBQ filled the air. It was awesome! I joined in the fun, met some fellow fans, and even got to hear some cheers of LSU, especially the "Hold that Tiger" bit from "Tiger Rag." Man, the fans here are wild, in a good way! They were all shouting "Geaux Tigers" at the end of each musical phrase.

The Drone Show

But wait, it gets better. LSU put on this crazy drone show before the game! There were over 400 drones hovering over the north side of Tiger Stadium. It was nuts, I tried to capture it on my phone, but honestly, pictures don't do it justice. I just watched it and enjoyed.

Kick off was at 12:12 PM on ABC. But the real highlight, they had ESPN's College GameDay in town. It was wild, so much going on.

I noticed everyone was decked out in purple and gold. Some folks were wearing these cool tops that matched Mike the Tiger, the mascot. And the ladies, they were rocking these cute purple and gold dresses. I even saw Will Campbell, the left tackle, he's a big deal, multi-time All-American. I heard he announced going into the 2025 NFL Draft after the regular season, it seemed he wouldn't play in the Texas Bowl with LSU.

The Game Itself

As for the game, North Carolina won on Saturday, but then LSU turned the tables and won on Sunday. It was a back-and-forth kind of weekend, which made it all the more exciting.

Overall, it was a blast. The energy, the fans, the drone show, the game, everything was top-notch. If you ever get a chance to catch a game at Tiger Stadium, do it! You won't regret it.
